"This was a bit of a lucky find, tucked away in a quiet street with a very relaxed atmosphere. The food was fantastic, portions were generous and the price was affordable. The guy serving the food was cheerful and warm. We loved it."

"We loved Can Shelabi! We are in Cadaques for a week and plan to go again! The atmosphere was fun. There was a band. I am a vegan and loved the vegan paella! Big helpings. The waiter spoke English and completely understood what vegan meant. He gave me details about the plate to prove it was vegan. Can't wait to eat there again very soon. (Photos-there were more olives. We started to eat before I remembered to take the photo.) Also, they have ketchup."

"We shared a green salad and a vegan paella. Both very tasty. Staff very friendly. Dogs are OK inside. They play great selection of indie music though not too loud, they also have live bands playing though unfortunately we missed that. You can also get a great locally brewed craft beer"

"Had the vegan paella, really loved it, incredibly delicious and great portion size. My boyfriend had the beer seen on the picture and the steak. He really liked the beer but wouldn't recommend the steak, it is not really a steak just a small and very thin slice of beef with loads of fries."

"After walking in the rain for hours this was our final destination before driving off, specifically because we wanted a casual atmosphere off the man restaurant path. The bartender/server was very welcoming and recommended we share the monkfish stew, which was the perfect antidote to a cold rainy day. We added some squid croquettes to finish things off. We wanted a more casual ambience with reasonable pricing and Can Shelabi delivered."
